Studio
or Loft
Condos
These mountain condos have all the amenities
necessary to make your stay in Yosemite National Park enjoyable.
Complete with satellite television, video
player, gas fireplace, gas
barbecue and efficiency kitchen w/ microwave, two to four persons can
be very comfortable in these cozy studio apartments.
In the studio condos, your queen-size Murphy bed
folds out of the wall, making for a more spacious
living room. A second bed will be a fold-out sofa-bed, or daybed geared
for smaller children. Your
private bathroom has a shower- tub combination with plenty of hot water!.

The loft condo includes the same amenities
as the studio with the addition of an extra "loft"
upstairs. This is an open loft with a queen; a queen and
a twin; or 2 queens with one extra bathroom. All loft
condos have a queen sofa bed in the living area. Sleeps 2-6
people.
You will experience the
best lodging value in Yosemite National Park.
A
note about the condos;
The condos at Yosemite West
Condominiums are older, basic, functional units that do not reflect
the latest in fashionable decor. Furniture is old but works
perfect. Mattresses have been updated, however, and are very
comfortable. Beds in the studio condos are Murphy Beds, and are, in
the opinion of the author, very comfortable. Carpets might have
a stain on them from years of transient use. None of the units
has air conditioning, as is the case with most accommodations in the
Yosemite Park area (except in El Portal, which is at the 3,000 foot
elevation and gets very hot during the summer). These units
represent basic lodging geared for guests who place greater emphasis
on cost-effective lodging and activities in the park rather than
opulent accommodations. Additionally, Yosemite West
Condominiums are one of the very few places in and around Yosemite
National Park where you can cook in your room.
If you are particularly
concerned about the latest in decor and appearance, let us suggest you
try the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite Valley, which has recently been refurbished, beginning
at $375 per night, or the Tenaya Hotel in Fish Camp, one hour from
Yosemite Valley, starting at $289 per night.
